For today I thought of a light post: it's another, yet another - and fortunately last - day of celebration, so no one wants to read heavy articles, even if this, in the end, is the usual post about advice . But they are different advice than usual: they are good manners advice . In the title I had used the technical name to indicate the comments in the blog, but then I corrected it. After all, you don't comment just to do comment marketing : those who don't have a site or a blog or want to publish books, comment if they have something to say and in that case they're certainly not doing marketing. If you are publishing on Blue Pen for the first time… … your comment will be approved .
The blog is set to publish comments in real time from readers who have already had a comment approved previously. Your comment can be approved even if you have already commented, but only if: you changed or misspelled your name you changed or wrote your email wrong you have changed or made a mistake in writing your site you inserted links in the Special Data comment Behavioral rules for commenting on the blog These are my rules, but I think they apply to any blog. Past experiences, even from last 2015, made me reflect on the need to write this post. I have not approved all the comments that have arrived on my posts, but the percentage of rejected comments is very low: it is much less than ten a year, on average. Half a dozen, the Americans would say.
I don't care if you don't agree with what I write in the posts: you don't have to agree and I approve comments from those who think differently than me. But there is way and way to criticize and this blog, my blog, must not become a battlefield. 1 – Use of respectful language This blog has gathered a very heterogeneous audience: in practice, people aged 10 and over have read and commented on it , up to over 70 years of age. Therefore, when commenting, we must first of all take into account that the comment is public and that certain words may annoy the reader, but having also children readers, this rule is even more valid. If you hear a bad word, don't worry: there is an automatic filter that transforms it into asterisks. If you do not agree with what I have written or with some comments left by readers, constructive criticism is always welcome , but insults or phrases bordering on insulting or provocative will not be tolerated. Which means those comments will not be approved or will be deleted.
